How can we design digital gadgets more susutainable?

Smart plus project aims to reduce the amount of digital gadgets that people use in everyday life. I found that the problem of the recent digital product market, is that companies create products that only delevers new technology without deep consideration. Becuase of this, the product's life span is getting shorther and at the end of the day, the products are just thrown away, rarely reused or recycled.

So, how can we solve these complex problems by design thinking?

I focused on the Smart phone market.

Nowadays people are beginning to realise that they can get even more portability and lots of computing punch from smart phones.That's where Smart Plus comes in action.

It is a new way of combining products from a laptop case, a projector keyboard and a Smartphone. There is no screen or dedicated hardrive involved in the setup; the Smartphone itself is the "brains" in this combo. The inside of the case doubles up as a screen and the projector beams images to it or any other surface you desire. All of it together can be used as a laptop, tv, dvd player, gaming console or a phone.
